Completed concrete slab and approach pad at a garage

What we do

What
we pour.

From tear-out and prep through the final finish.

Freshly poured concrete driveway running alongside a home

Driveways

New driveway pours, tear-outs and replacements. Proper sub-base, reinforcement, and broom or smooth finish, built to handle Kansas City winters.

Most driveway jobs start with a tear-out: we break out the old slab, haul it off, then re-grade and compact the base so the new concrete has something solid underneath. Forms and reinforcement go in next, and joints are laid out so the slab cracks where we want it to instead of down the middle. Broom finish is standard for traction in Missouri winters.

  • Tear-out and haul-off of the existing driveway
  • Compacted base, forms and reinforcement
  • Control joints laid out for winter freeze-thaw
  • Broom or smooth finish, aprons and approaches included

Large concrete patio slab poured beneath a wooden deck

Patios

Backyard patio slabs sized to fit your space. Clean joints, controlled cracking, and a finish that looks good for decades.

Patios get laid out on site with you before anything is poured, so the size and shape fit how you actually use the yard. We handle grading and drainage away from the house, pour around deck posts and stairs when needed, and keep joint lines squared to the home rather than scattered across the slab.

  • On-site layout so the slab fits the space
  • Grading and drainage pitched away from the house
  • Pours around decks, stairs and existing structures
  • Clean joint layout and finished edges

Completed concrete walkway and steps running up a slope between buildings

Sidewalks

Front walks, side walks, and public approaches. Consistent grade, joint spacing, and finish for trip-free footing year after year.

Sidewalk work covers front walks, side-yard paths, steps between grades, and city-facing approaches. Uneven, heaved or settled sections get removed and replaced rather than patched over, so the finished walk holds a consistent grade and there are no lips to trip on.

  • Front walks, side paths and hillside steps
  • Removal and replacement of heaved or settled sections
  • Consistent grade with no trip lips at joints
  • Broom finish for traction in rain and snow

Garage Slabs

New garage floors, shop slabs, and approach pads. Properly thickened edges, sealed control joints, and a finish ready for any vehicle.

Slabs that carry vehicle weight get built for it: compacted base, thickened edges, reinforcement, and joints placed for the span. We pour garage floors, shop and outbuilding slabs, equipment pads, and the approach pad between the garage and the drive.

  • Garage floors, shop and outbuilding slabs
  • Thickened edges and reinforcement for vehicle loads
  • Approach pads tied into the existing drive
  • Smooth, hard-troweled or broom finish

Repairs

Cracked driveway? Settling slab? Spalling steps? We diagnose the cause first, then repair or replace.

We look at why the concrete failed before quoting a fix. Settling usually means a base problem, and pouring new concrete over a bad base just buys a couple of years. Where a section can be cut out and replaced, we do that; where the slab is past saving, we say so and price the replacement instead.

  • Cause diagnosed before any repair is quoted
  • Saw-cut section removal and replacement
  • Settled, cracked and spalling slabs, steps and approaches
  • Straight answer when replacement is the better spend

Stamped & Decorative

Stamped patterns, broom finishes, exposed aggregate, and color treatments.

Decorative work is the same structural slab underneath — the difference is the finish. Stamped patterns, exposed aggregate, saw-cut joint patterns, banded borders and integral color are all options, and we walk through samples and pricing with you before the pour is scheduled.

  • Stamped patterns and textured finishes
  • Exposed aggregate and banded borders
  • Decorative saw-cut joint layouts
  • Color options reviewed before pour day
